In this adventure, we will get to know the Maipo Drawer, the inhabited heart of the Andes Mountains and part of San José de Maipo; the commune that houses this rural and natural sector of the Metropolitan Region.

We will make several tourist stops until we reach the National Reserve El Yeso Reservoir, a natural lagoon located at 2,500 meters above sea level and enchanting with the color of its waters, varying between emerald green and turquoise, accompanied by the mountains of the mountain range that border the area.

The reservoir is over 50 meters deep, 6 kilometers long, and 1.5 kilometers wide. After 10 years of construction on a natural lake, this lagoon is now the main source of drinking water for Santiago and the agricultural areas in the region.

At this stop, you will be able to enjoy a clean and natural landscape, take the best photographs and cool off with the mountain wind.

Continuing with the tour, we will arrive at one of the most striking tourist attractions of the Cajón del Maipo, called House of Chocolate. This is a magical place within a small forest, where you can enjoy exquisite sweet preparations and admire its unique architecture in detail.

And finally, to end our tour of the area, We will have a picnic in an open and natural environment, where we can talk about what we have discovered in the area and enjoy the natural landscapes that the Cajón del Maipo offers us.
